This may look a little funny but it is an AWESOME snack for kids. (I ate most of it) It's chocolate peanut butter dip for apples. Here's the secret...... there are carrots in there!! Its one of the awesome
recipes from Jessica
Seinfeld cookbook, Deceptively Delicious. This is a great cookbook, especially if you have a hard time getting your kids to eat veggies. She takes already great
recipes, most of them are already kid friendly, and she shows you how to add pureed veggies in a way where you can't see or TASTE them!! It's incredible! So there are carrots in this
recipe and
Rylie had no idea. You honestly cannot taste them. We've also done the grilled cheese with butternut squash, its the same color as cheddar cheese so they have no idea. And it tastes the exact same. It's so sneaky, I love it!! So here's the
recipe for the chocolate peanut butter dip:
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup fat free cream cheese
6 tablespoons chocolate syrup
1/4 cup carrot puree
1/2 teaspoon salt
fruit slices for dipping
You can even use lite peanut butter and fat free chocolate syrup and make it super duper healthy! Try it. It's healthy and really good. And try out the cookbook. It's genius. I think you can get used on Amazon for like $8
